In the old quarter close to the top. Excellent pizza’s and pasta. Lovely friendly restaurant which is almost opposite.........

If you are looking for a very special evening you should consider this restaurant.

A special place with fantastic food and great service. It’s very popular even out of season and you should book well in advance to guarantee a table.

If you find your way to the Piazza in the old town there are many other restaurants to choose from. Some have spectacular views of the coastline. We have never had a bad meal in any of them.
 

On the sea front you will be spoilt for places to eat. There are many restaurants which specialize in fish and you can be assured it is fresh. We suggest you visit the Americas Cup Bar which is open only until 6.00pm. It serves superbly presented meals for all appetites in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. In the heart of the village of Altea La Vella you will find the recently opened Valentinos restaurant. This is definitely not a fast food restaurant and you have to be patient in waiting for your food but we have found it is well worth waiting for. It has a great cosmopolitan atmosphere attracting a discerning clientele but it is far from expensive and has become instantly popular. Make an appointment to be safe.

Gula Gula is a very attractive restaurant on the sea front in Altea and offers very good food and wine at reasonable prices. This is a great place to watch the world go by in the evenings.
