Local attractions. The local attractions are many and varied.
Golf. The Don Cayo Club is an established course and only 2.5 km from Alteanatura. Although only 9 holes this course can be demanding with one hole boasting the longest par 5 in Europe at 580 yards. It is however popular with young and old alike. Golf buggies are available and we understand there is good tution available. Not over priced like many courses either.
Terra Mitica. The Terra Mitica theme park is a great favourite with the children. A great day out on Roller Coasters, Big dippers and other exciting rides. Great fun in the evenings we are told.
Guadalest. Built on a high rocky outcrop this ancient monastry and fortress in the village of Guadalest looks across some of the most stunning scenery to be found on the Costa Blanca and is well worth a visit.
Marinas and Boating. If you like all things nautical you couldn’t be in a better place. The Northern Costa Blanca is ideally placed to take advantage of the Americas Cup in 2007. There are two marinas near to Alteanatura. The Altea Nautical Club offers everything you would expect from a designated marine resort and there is another sports marina at nearby Mascarrat.
Walking and Hiking Holidays. Alteanatura is on the Northern Costa Blanca and located on the lower slopes of the Sierra de Bernia or The Altea Hills. It is an ideal base for a walking holiday and discover this beautiful part of Spain. There are many paths and tracks in the area and you are guaranteed to experience some of the most spectacular scenery to be found anywhere on the Costa Blanca.
Aqualandia. One of the top water parks is Benidorms Aqualandia. Lots of things to do. www.aqualandia.com
Motorcycle Museum Guadalest. Visit beautiful Guadalest and enjoy the nearby Motorcycle museum with its  collection of vehicles from the 1920's to the 1970's. Spectaular views and good value quality restaurant. www.museovehiculosguadalest.com
